Our History
Uniutama Management Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (UMHSB) is a wholly owned company of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) which was established on 18 May 1999 with the original name of Uniutama Management Sdn. Bhd. (UMSB) and on 28 January 2003 was officially changed to Uniutama Management Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (UMHSB).

THE COMPANY WAS FOUNDED
The company has been established and the statistical plan to start the company’s business has been implemented in the initial stage. The company’s operations are carried out in the old headquarters with a small amount of human labor.

THE FIRST SUBSIDIARY WAS ESTABLISHED
On 7 August 2002, the first subsidiary was founded under the name Uniutama Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd as the first step in the company’s business development.

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE SECOND SUBSIDIARY
In 2002, in the same year three months after the establishment of the first subsidiary, the profits that were achieved in a short time led to the establishment of the second subsidiary which is Uniutama Solution Sdn Bhd or previously known as SerindIT on 7 October 2002.

UNIUTAMA MANAGEMENT HOLDINGS SDN BHD
Looking at the rapid development of subsidiaries with a stronger financial position at that time, Uniutama has decided to plan to add more subsidiaries in the future with the exploration of more business opportunities being planned. Uniutama Management Sdn Bhd has decided to rebrand with the name Uniutama Management Holdings Sdn Bhd on 28 January 2003.

Exploration in the field of real estate and construction as well as the need to provide cleaning services for universities to reduce dependence on external suppliers has been the reason for the establishment of Uniutama Property Sdn Bhd on 14 March 2004.

UNIUTAMA EDUCATION & CONSULTANCY SDN BHD
Looking at the importance in the field of education and to further improve its increasingly complex management system, the establishment of UECSB on March 23, 2011 is at the right time to further increase the productivity of the University and UMHSB in education management and the exploration of more business opportunities.

MANAGERS COFFEE
Exploration in the Cafeteria field and the first franchise has led to the establishment of MCSB or Managers Coffee Sdn Bhd on 19 May 2016.
